MAKE is providing Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for the refurbishment and repositioning of Marlsbro House, a prominent historic warehouse building in the heart of Manchester city centre.

Working alongside our client and consultant team, we have helped shape the vision for what we believe is one of Manchester’s most exciting heritage led regeneration projects. The scheme will transform a long vacant building into a vibrant mixed-use destination, carefully balancing the preservation of its industrial character with the demands of a modern city centre environment.

The proposed development will deliver a flexible mix of workspace, hospitality, leisure, retail and community uses, creating a destination that supports both businesses and the wider public. MAKE has led the project through feasibility, planning and procurement stages, helping to unlock the building’s potential and establish a clear strategy for its long-term future.

Planning approval is currently being sought, with enabling works already underway including early site investigations and asbestos removal. Once complete, Marlsbro House will breathe new life into an important Manchester landmark, creating a distinctive destination that celebrates the building’s heritage while contributing to the continued growth and regeneration of the city centre.
