MAKE NW is acting as Programme Director for the Rawtenstall Market project, providing strategic oversight across the construction delivery, the wider Levelling Up Fund (LUF) programme, and the procurement of a long-term operating partner.

In this role, MAKE is responsible for coordinating the market redevelopment within the broader LUF objectives, ensuring alignment between funding conditions, programme milestones and delivery outputs. MAKE provides senior oversight of the construction project, supporting the client in managing risk, programme, cost and stakeholder interfaces, and acting as a critical friend across the design and delivery process.

In parallel, MAKE is leading and advising on the procurement strategy for a long-term market operating partner, ensuring the future operation of Rawtenstall Market is commercially sustainable, aligned with the council’s regeneration ambitions, and integrated with the physical redevelopment of the site.
